We have been selling ground coffee since 2019 through our online shop and through a select number of retail outlets across Ireland. It’s great to be part of the coffee revolution which is sweeping this country and to see a growing number of artisan roasters and coffee houses.
Kenya is recognised internationally as being one of the world’s great coffee producing countries. Not only do the high mountains, regular rainfall patterns and excellent soil conditions make for unique flavours, there is a wide spectrum of regional variation within the country.
Our region, Kirinyaga, is in the Central part of Kenya, and we specialise in growing Arabica beans, which are said to have a comparatively smoother and sweeter taste with underlying notes of chocolate, sugar, fruits and berries.
We grow Grade AA beans, which are the highest graded beans in the country, and our chosen varietal – SL28 – is recognised as delivering high yields and an exceptionally good cup profile.
We are established participants on Supervalu’s Food Academy Programme and we have also recently developed new opportunities with Kickstart at Lidl.
At present, we are stocked through the following Supervalu outlets in the Co Dublin area: Pavilion, Sutton, Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush, Raheny, Malahide, Blanchardstown, Finglas and Killester.
We would like to expand our coverage on the island of Ireland. If you think that our cold brew product is the right fit for your outlet, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We are also in the process of developing an additional range of flavours and drinks, including almond latte, mint and purple tea - which is also grown on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Do keep an eye on our shop for more details!
These products have a unique range of health benefits and appeal to the growing demand for innovative RTD coffee and tea products both at home and internationally.
We are open to the idea of white labelling these products with the right partner or partners, or of helping you source great Kenyan coffee directly from suppliers; again if you are interested in learning what we do and you think that we can work well together, we would welcome the prospect of having a chat.
Finally, a word of thanks to our partners who have given us some much needed support over the last couple of years!
